The Bout:
As it was Greg’s first fight and the unknowns are immense, he carried a lot of nerves into the ring down in Freehold NJ. But with the training he did back home in Sparta NJ, nothing was going to scare him. The hard work was done and now it was time to show what he was made of. He went out there and put on a performance in a high pace fight that went to the judges score cards. The fight was back and forth but Greg was getting the better of the exchanges. The fight was close but with Greg getting the standing 8 count in the first round and a clean body kick that hurt his opponent in the third, the victory was secured.

The feeling of victory is always sweet, but combat sports is one of the most exhilarating. Greg was excited to just get out there, to show his skills and get the win take that feeling to the next level. On the ride home to Sparta Greg was already planning his next moves. He is going to continue to take Muay Thai Kickboxing bouts, Jiu Jitsu tournaments and maybe even a boxing bout, as he works up to MMA.
